Damongo Diocesan Health Directorate Grant Release to Two Specialist Doctors on Request.
The Damongo Diocesan Health Directorate has released two specialist doctors for redistribution to the Ghana Health Service Facilities in the Savannah Region.
The specialists are Doctor Anthony Ayambire who is a specialist obstetrician and Doctor Jonathan Wadeyir Abesig who is also a specialist gynecologist.
The two specialist doctors who were not happy about some managerial decisions taken by the management of St. Ann’s Catholic Hospital in Damongo where they were working, requested for a release from the CHAG facility in a letter dated 3rd May, 2022 to be reposted to Ghana Health Service facilities in the Savannah Region.

Dear Sir,
RE: REQUEST FOR RELEASE OF SPECIALIST OBSTETRICIAN GYNAECOLOGIST FOR REDISTRIBUTION TO GHANA HEALTH SERVICE FACILITIES IN THE SAVANNAH REGION
Reference is made to your letter dated May 3, 2022 on the above subject. The Diocesan Health Directorate in consultation with the bishop, has released Doctors Anthony Ayambire and Jonathan Wadeyir Abesig on secondment to you for reposting. The release is effective 15th July, 2022.
The Diocesan Health Directorate recognized that these Specialist Doctors will continue to serve the people of God within the Diocese in the districts that they will be assigned thus contributing to Christ’s healing Ministry. Furthermore, this will strengthen the partnership between the diocesan and the regional health directorates in bringing specialist health services a step closer to the people of the Savannah Region.
