Following a devastating flood, the resilient community of Sori No 1 in the West Gonja Municipality finds itself dealing with the aftermath of nature’s fury. On Saturday, April 20th, 2024, heavy rain and fierce winds wreaked havoc on this peaceful farming enclave, disrupting the serene rural life and leaving four households in dire straits.
The relentless storm caused significant damage to Sori No 1, rendering four homes uninhabitable and forcing their unfortunate residents to seek shelter elsewhere. Sohuwine Azure, Dery Mark, Seidu Sadiku, and Duut Azumah, among those affected, symbolize resilience in adversity, their homes reduced to rubble by the unforgiving force of nature.

With nowhere else to turn, he appeals to the compassion of leaders and stakeholders, notably the Member of Parliament, Hon. Abu Jinapor, and the National Disaster Management Organization (NADMO), for assistance in his time of need.

As the affected residents face an uncertain future, the call for urgent assistance grows louder. Assemblyman
