This benevolent act unfolded following an exhilarating friendly match between Damongo United SC from Hangaline and Biikunu Rising Stars FC from Alhassankura, organized by Kumatey Gorden on Sunday, November 5, 2023, at the Damongo AstroTurf pitch.
Beyond the provision of footballs, the aspiring Assembly member also ensured refreshments for the players and their managers. Addressing the players post-match, Mr. Gorden urged them to take their football careers seriously, underscoring the pivotal role of sports in fostering unity within the electoral area.
