The Naada Jinapor Foundation, a non-governmental organization dedicated to improving healthcare in the Damongo constituency, has made a generous donation of essential drugs to several local health facilities. This initiative is part of the Foundation’s ongoing efforts to enhance healthcare delivery in the area.
The donation was made on behalf of the Foundation’s CEO, Mrs. Naada Jinapor, who is also the wife of the Damongo Member of Parliament, Hon. Samuel Abu Jinapor. A delegation led by Hajia Ubaida Nurudeen presented the medications to the recipient health centers, emphasizing the Foundation’s commitment to the well-being of the Damongo constituency.
In her remarks following the donation, Hajia Ubaida highlighted the Foundation’s strong commitment to the health of the constituency’s residents. She explained that the donation is part of a broader initiative to ensure that the people of Damongo have access to necessary medical supplies, especially as the farming season reaches its peak.
“This is not the first time the Foundation, under the leadership of Mrs. Naada Jinapor, has undertaken such a project. The Foundation has consistently worked towards improving healthcare in Damongo, and this latest gesture is a testament to our ongoing commitment,” Hajia Ubaida said.
In addition to providing basic medications, the Naada Jinapor Foundation also supplied anti-snake venoms to address the risk of snake bites, which becomes more prevalent as farming activities increase. This proactive step aims to ensure that local health facilities are prepared to handle such emergencies during the busy farming season.
The health facilities that benefited from this donation include the Larabanga, Murugu, Mognori, Grupe, and Kabampe Health Centers. Representatives from these facilities, along with their health committees and community leaders, expressed deep gratitude to the Foundation, Mrs. Naada Jinapor, and Hon. Samuel Abu Jinapor for their continued support.
“We are extremely grateful for this timely donation,” one health facility representative remarked. “These drugs will significantly enhance our ability to provide quality healthcare to our community members. We assure the Foundation that the medications will be used effectively for their intended purpose.”
The Naada Jinapor Foundation team that facilitated the donation included key members such as Seidu Rafia, Yussif Huzeifa, Mr. Abdin, Madam Munira, and Miss Janet Rhule, who serves as the secretary to Mrs. Naada Jinapor.
This latest act of generosity by the Naada Jinapor Foundation further solidifies its role as a key partner in the development of the Damongo constituency, particularly in the area of healthcare. The Foundation’s ongoing contributions are expected to have a lasting positive impact on the health and well-being of the people in the constituency
