Municipal chief executive for west Gonja Hon Karim Musah Kusubari today Friday 31st March, 2023 paid a Courtesy call on the newly Enskinned Gonja king Yagbonwura Bikunuto Jewu soale at his private residence in Damongo
The MCE and his entourage were warmly received by the linguist, the Yagbon Imam and other sub chiefs present.
According to the MCE, the purpose for their visit was to develop first hand interaction with the king and also introduce to him the members who constitute the Municipal Security Council (MUSEC) and the various Assembly members in the Municipality
Hon Musah explained further to the new king that, one of his core mandates as a municipal Chief Executive and the chairman for MUSEC is to bring peace and development to the people in the Municipality.
He humbly made an appeal that, at any instance the king may be facing some challenges at his palace that will demand calm he shouldn’t hesitate to call on him for an immediate assistance as the chairman for MUSEC
The MCE concluded his brief statement by thanking the new Yagbonwura for the warm reception shown to he and his team.
He once again congratulated the new king and the entire Gonja kingdom for the peaceful and a smooth succession nature of Enskinment of the new king.
The MCE was accompanied by the Municipal Security Council members (MUSEC), the Municipal Coordinating Director Mr. Jimah Yakubu, the current presiding member of the West Gonja municipal Assembly Mr. Mohammed Mumuni and several other working staff of the Assembly.
In response of the new Yagbonwura he thanked the MCE and his entourage for their visit as it will build up unity and peace.

According to the new king, his presence in Damongo is equally in the hands of the MCE and his subordinates and that, God will bless everyone.
