On Tuesday 23rd November,2021the municipal chief executive for West Gonja Hon Musah Kusobari met with heads of department to have a first hand interaction
In present at the meeting were the Municipal Health Director, Municipal Agric Director, Municipal NADMO Director, BNI and heads of department working directly under the assembly
In the welcome address the municipal coordinating director for West Gonja Municipal Assembly Mr Petro Ankorle thanked the officers for honouring the invitation
He introduced to the participants on the various departments under the assembly and the key role they play
Mr Petro explained that the purpose of the meeting is to have a first hand interaction with the newly appointment MCE mandated by the local government act law
The director reminded all participants to take punctuality and poor attitude towards work very serious most especially our attendance to meetings
Mr Petro applauded the current MCE for his time cautious and punctuality ever since he took office and entreat all to emulate same
The regional coordinating director for Savannah region Mr Adu Asamoah was part of the meeting and urge all to always seek and also take advise from their superiors in order to create enabling environment for their job
Mr Asamoah made it clear that the core mandate of the regional coordinating council is to monitor,supervise and coordinate the affairs of the district Assemblys in the region
He deem it a great honor for meeting the various heads of department in the municipality
Hon Musah was very grateful for the opportunity and thanked heads of department for devoting their time to be part of this crucial meeting
According to the MCE the meeting as a matter of fact is an orientation for him as a new person in office to take note of what is right to move his work
Hon Musah advised that heads of department should as a matter of urgency make sure the submit their reports on timely basis
The MCE also emphasized on punctuality and poor attitude towards work to be something of the past in 2022 since this year is almost ended
“I have learned something great from this meeting”
