Mr. Saeed Muhazu Jibril has been confirmed by the assembly as the district chief executive of the West Gonja district assembly in Damango in the northern region.
The Northern regional minister Hon. Salifu Saeed was there to witness it.
The West Gonja District Assembly has a total number of 17 Assembly members , all attended and 15 out of the 17 voted yes whiles two voted No.
He has therefore been confirmed having polled more than the two-third majority.
He commended all those who has believed in him and ensured he is given the mandate to lead the assembly and promised to give off his best to solve the developmental challenges confronting the various communities.
He called for unity among the people so that they can together work towards a common goal.
